Which devices do we service?
TUF Gaming A
We accept models including A15, A16, A17 and A18. The complete FA product code identifies the motherboard, cooling, display and connector variant.
TUF Gaming F
We investigate models including F15, F16 and F17. Display size alone is not enough to order parts: we check the full FX code, panel specifications and part markings.
TUF Dash
We also service earlier TUF Dash designs. Charging, thermal materials and upgrade options are checked for the particular version.
Examples include FA507 and FX507; your request should also include the complete suffix on the label. “TUF Gaming 15” does not uniquely identify a display, motherboard or keyboard.
What problems can we investigate?
Low FPS and loud fans
We compare temperatures, radiator airflow, fans and operating mode to distinguish cooling problems from power limits or another fault.
Charging and socket problems
We assess the adapter, connector and charging circuit. For USB-C, we first establish the functions supported by that specific port.
Broken screen or hinges
Panel markings and specifications matter as well as size. We inspect the hinges, mounts and cable, especially if the case separates when opened.
Missing Wi-Fi, port or picture
We check software, modules, connectors and relevant motherboard circuits. A missing device does not automatically require motherboard replacement.
Cooling service for your specific design
TUF maintenance depends on the generation, cooling assembly and device condition. We inspect fans, radiator fins, CPU/GPU contact and the materials used on memory and power components. A solution from another ASUS series is not automatically appropriate for a TUF.
When gaming performance drops, we compare temperatures with clock speeds and power draw. A high temperature without load information is not a diagnosis. Cooling maintenance is followed by stability checks within the agreed scope.
RAM and SSD upgrades: check the exact model first
Before an upgrade, we check memory type, the number of free slots, SSD format and motherboard limitations. TUF models do not all share the same connectors. If you want to keep your system and data, we also discuss drive cloning and the work involved before installation.
What do we check before returning the device?
After repair, we test the relevant function: charging, picture, ports, networking or operation under load.
After screen replacement, we check picture and backlight; hinge work includes checking cable routing and mount movement. RAM and SSD upgrade tests are selected for the fitted components.
What should you include in your request?
- The complete FA or FX model code, symptoms and when they first appeared.
- The adapter if the fault involves charging, shutdowns or performance in games.
- Details of spills, drops, earlier disassembly and whether preserving your data is a priority.
Questions before repair
Do you accept the TUF A18 as well as smaller models?
Yes. We accept TUF Gaming devices of different sizes, including the A18. Parts and repair options depend on the complete model code.
Does every TUF charge through USB-C?
No. USB-C functions depend on the model and port. We check the specification and power requirements of the particular device.
Can you upgrade TUF RAM and SSD storage?
Yes. We first check compatibility, available slots and the work required, including any drive cloning.
Does a broken hinge mount require a new lid?
It depends on the extent of damage and the condition of the parts. Inspection determines whether mount repair or replacement is appropriate.
My TUF cannot see its Wi-Fi card. Do I need a new motherboard?
We first check the module, software, connector and relevant circuits. Diagnostics determines the appropriate repair method.
